Hermann Park Conservancy invites you and your family to this exclusive donor appreciation party as a thank you for your support of the Commons and Play Your Park campaign. We hope you can join us to explore the Commons and celebrate!

Event Details

Festive fare will be available throughout the morning. We recommend you wear picnic attire so you can take full advantage of all the attractions the Commons has to offer. Additionally, please keep in mind that there are water play features in this area, so you may want to bring a change of clothes for your children.

This event is by invitation only, non-transferable, and your RSVP is required. RSVP to mmiller@hermannpark.org by Monday, April 1.

The event will take place inside the Commons construction fence. Guests must enter the site at the corner of Fannin and Cambridge Streets.

Parking for this event is located in Hermann Park’s Lot S, located right next to Palmer Church (6221 Main Street). Please make sure to use the lot entrance on Main Street and tell the parking attendants you are here for the Commons donor party. Once parked, you can walk along the Main Street sidewalk toward Cambridge Street, turn left at the corner and continue down Cambridge across Fannin to enter the Commons site. HPD and Metro officers will be helping at the street crossings.

Overflow parking will be located at the Rice University campus in Entrance 3 garage. Guests should enter Rice at Gate 3, which is at Main and Cambridge Streets. The best address to use for the parking garage is 6200 Main Street. Click HERE for more information about the location of the parking garage.

If parking in the Rice garage, guests must show the parking attendant a parking pass for free entrance. The parking pass will be emailed to everyone who has sent in their RSVP for the event, so please make sure to RSVP. You can present a printed copy or a digital version on your phone.

Please click HERE for a map and walking instructions from Hermann Park Lot S and Rice Entrance 3 garage to the Commons site.
