Hermann Park Conservancy is excited to have a new off-leash dog park currently under way! With 91% of the needed $2 million already raised, we are hoping for your support on bringing this new community feature to life!

When creating our 20-year master plan for the improvement of Hermann Park, we spoke to the community to see what new things they would want in the Park, and a dog park was the most-requested new feature!

Spreading out over 2.5 acres off South MacGregor Way along Brays Bayou, out of flood zones, this thoughtfully designed dog park will offer:

  • Separate areas for small and large dogs
  • Areas to play for both dogs and their owners
  • State-of-the-art play equipment and interactive water features
  • Dog wash station
  • Plenty of natural shade
  • Dedicated surface parking
  • And much more!

Landscape architects at Lauren Griffith Associates are developing the design of the dog park, creating a space as beautiful as it is fun.

The McWilliams Dog Park is expected to open in 2022.
