Join us for the next Garden & Nature Series: Family Ikebana! 

Join Shaila Shah, Fourth Grade teacher from The Sogetsu School of Ikebana, for evening of Family Ikebana. Learn about the traditional Japanese art of flower arranging through a demonstration and guided activity. Participants in this family-friendly event will discover the basic principles of this beautiful art form that developed over six hundred years ago.

Shaila Shah - Ms. Shah obtained her certification as an Ikebana teacher from the Sogetsu School of Ikebana following a 27-year tenure as a Montessori Directress. She is excited to blend her Montessori presentation-based instruction with Ikebana’s traditions to encourage students towards the goal of producing beautiful results independently.
