Hermann Park today and for generations to come.

If you are interested in volunteering to help with the recovery efforts in the Park, you can inquire at volunteer@hermannpark.org. Two open session this weekend include:

On Saturday, July 13, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., volunteers will work throughout the Heart of the Park. We ask that the group meets at the Pedal Boat kiosk in Lake Plaza (6102 Hermann Park Drive) to receive instruction from Conservancy staff. Parking is available in Lots E, F or G near the Houston Zoo.

On Sunday, July 14, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., volunteers will focus on the Commons. We recommend parking in Lot S, across the street from the Commons and located next to Palmer Memorial Episcopal Church (6221 Main Street), or Lot A, which is off the Sam Houston Monument roundabout and near the Japanese Garden. Parking is also available in other areas of the Park, such as in Lots E, F, G and H near the Zoo. Please plan to meet at the Wortham Pavilion (6001 Fannin Street) by 9 a.m. to receive instruction and supplies.

The following amenities have resumed normal operating hours following Hurricane Beryl: Commons Play Gardens, Pedal Boats, Hermann Park Railroad, Lott Family Carousel, McGovern Centennial Gardens and the Conservancy Gift Shop.

Sunday Press, Parking Lot T and the McWilliams Dog Park will remain closed as we continue our restoration efforts throughout the Park.

IF YOU PLAN TO VISIT THE COMMONS:
Please consider parking at the Memorial Hermann Medical Plaza Garage (Winpark), located at 6400 Fannin Street, which is across the street from the Commons site. There is a daily fee to park in this garage on the weekend.
