DESCRIPTION:Presented by PlainsCapital Bank\, enjoy a day full of holiday festivities in Hermann Park! Before a double feature movie night featuring Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Elf\, join us in the Park for rides on the holiday train and carousel\, music\, performance groups\, pictures with a roaming Santa\, story time\, lawn games\, crafts\, nature-based activities\, and more.\n\n\nThrow on a tacky sweater or come in your cozy pajamas for the free movie night on the lawn in the Commons. The showings for Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Elf begin at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.\, respectively\, but be sure to get to the Commons early to snag your spot. Guests are welcome to bring blankets or lawn chairs to settle in for the movie(s).\n\n\nAll of the activities and movie showings are free! The lots closest to Lake Plaza and the Commons are Lot A\, by the Japanese Garden\, and Lots E\, F\, G\, and H\, by the Houston Zoo. Lot T\, the small lot near Wortham Pavilion\, will be closed to the public and reserved for event vendors.
