In honor of the McGovern Centennial Gardens’ 10th anniversary, Hermann Park Conservancy invites you to celebrate this special occasion with us! At this free event open to the public, attendees will enjoy complimentary coffee, drinks, sweet treats and popcorn, face painting, lawn games and activities, music, and a beautiful morning in the Gardens.

The vision of a grand garden space in Hermann Park was realized during another landmark moment in the Park’s history – its 100th birthday. Through strong philanthropic support from many across our community, including the namesake John P. McGovern Foundation, the McGovern Centennial Gardens debuted and have since become one of Houston's most beautiful and iconic outdoor destinations for family picnics, relaxing strolls, and moments of discovery in its many natural spaces.
