Hermann Park Dog Park Public Meeting

Tuesday, April 9, 2019
6 pm
Cherie Flores Pavilion at McGovern Centennial Gardens

Hermann Park Conservancy is excited to announce plans for an off-leash dog park. But first, we want your ideas!

Join us Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at 6 pm for a public meeting on the Hermann Park dog park at the Cherie Flores Garden Pavilion. Lauren Griffith Associates, the team behind the design of this project, will present on the initial plans for the park and be available to answer questions.

Spreading out over 2.4 acres off South MacGregor Way along Brays Bayou and tucked into habitats native to Houston, this thoughtfully designed dog park will offer separate areas for small and large dogs, areas to play for both dogs and their owners, an interactive water feature, plenty of natural shade, surface parking, and much more.

As with every project from Hermann Park Conservancy, the goal of this dog park is to engender community in the neighborhoods surrounding the Park and beyond. We invite you to this public meeting to give your ideas and feedback on the design plans. Can’t make it? Please email your ideas and comments to ideas@hermannpark.org.
