Hermann Park Conservancy's FREE garden class series in the McGovern Centennial Gardens continues with a session on garden photography!

We invite you to join us for a discussion with local photographer and gardener George Hixson. George will share many photos he's taken here at Hermann Park and share his philosophy for capturing breathtaking shots of beautiful landscapes. No photography equipment is required to attend this event. We encourage you to come with questions and curiosity on capturing the great outdoors.

George Hixson is a talented photographer and local gardening expert. George has built and maintained several school gardens and is proficient teaching and connecting folks to vegetable gardening. He was once a staff gardener here at McGovern Centennial Garden.  Currently George is focused on his family's business, being a pro photo man, and working on his award winning Art Car. George is a delightful instructor and an all around awesome dude. You can check out his photographs on Instagram at @georgehixson.

This class is free and open to the public. Space is limited and advanced registration is required. The class will take place inside the Cherie Flores Garden Pavilion. To register, click here.
