Volunteer Opportunities

The Conservancy welcomes families, individuals, and corporate, nonprofit, and student groups to participate in meaningful and fulfilling volunteer opportunities in Hermann Park. A list of specific, up-to-date opportunities is available on the Volunteer Match website at www.volunteermatch.com. (Type "Hermann" under keyword search.)

In the Park
Volunteers are needed to keep the Park looking clean and beautiful. These are just a few of the activities volunteers perform in the Park:

• Pruning plants and mulching plant beds
• Cleaning picnic tables and benches
• Planting and watering trees
• Removing invasive plants
• Cleaning and repairing trails
• Removing trash

Event Support
Hermann Park Conservancy counts on volunteer support at its events throughout the year. The three biggest of these are the Evening in the Park gala, Hermann Park Hat Luncheon, and Park to Park Run. To successfully pull off each of these events, the Conservancy counts on volunteers to help with gift bag preparation, event check-in, and post-event clean up.

Office Assistance
Since the Conservancy has a small full-time staff, volunteers who wish to help out in the office are greatly appreciated. Volunteers are needed to help prepare letters for mailing, organize the archives, answer the phone, and file documents.
