Train and pedal boat tickets are sold at the Hermann Park Conservancy Gift Shop at Kinder Station in Lake Plaza. This area is adjacent to the Houston Zoo main entrance.

Railroad:
Monday - Friday 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Saturday - Sunday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
$3.25 per person, adults and children 1 year and older
All day pass (weekdays only; excludes holidays) - $6.50
Set of 10 gift tickets - $35
Pedal Boats:
Monday - Friday 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. (No boat departures after 4:30 p.m.)
Saturday - Sunday 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. (No boat departures after 5:30 p.m.)
Price is $10 per boat for 30 minutes

Strollers are allowed on the train only if they do not take up a space
Private Rentals
The Hermann Park Train is available for private rental between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. daily. For more info please call Visitor Services at 713-526-2183.

Getting on or off at train stops
Three new stops along Hermann Park Railroad allow train riders to get on or off at various points of interest in the Park. Stops include the M. D. Anderson Train Station across from the Houston Museum of Natural Science, the Sunset stop with access to METRORail and Rice University, and a stop at the corner of Cambridge and Fannin with access to the Texas Medical Center and Buddy Carruth Playground for All Children.
You may board the train at any stop and ride to Kinder Station in Lake Plaza, where all riders must exit. Those who boarded at a stop should buy a ticket at Kinder Station and may get back on the train to ride back to the stop where they originally boarded if they wish.
PLEASE NOTE: During peak hours we are unable to guarantee a seat while boarding at the remote train stops.
