Whether you are a serious runner or a weekend jogger, whether you race competitively or just like to walk with friends and family, the 2007 Park to Park Run is an event you will not want to miss. The Hermann Park Conservancy’s Park to Park Run offers something for people of every age and athletic ability. Proceeds from the day will support the restoration and beautification of Hermann Park, Houston’s 445-acre landmark and a part of Houston’s identity for three generations.
The Conservancy expects the fourth annual Park to Park Run on Saturday, February 10, to attract over 800 runners, joggers, and walkers. The event will be part of the Spring 2007 Houston Area Road Runners Association (H.A.R.R.A.) series.
The day will include four events:
- Five-Mile Run from Minute Maid Park to Hermann Park
- Five-Mile Wheelchair Race from Minute Maid Park to Hermann Park
- Two-Mile Walk In The Park
- One-Kilometer Kids Fun Run
