In an effort to complete the Master Plan for Hermann Park, designed by landscape architect Laurie Olin, Hermann Park Conservancy has taken on a series of capital improvement projects aimed for completion by the Park’s centennial in 2014. Donations to the Centennial Campaign support current projects, including the transformation of Lake Plaza, the renovation of the Grand Gateway (the entrance to the Park from the Mecom Fountain to the Sam Houston Monument), the restoration of the Japanese Garden, and the renovation of the Garden Center.
