Hermann Park Conservancy is excited to offer this fun new program for train enthusiasts young and old. Come aboard and be a Hermann Park Railroad Engineer for a Day! Get a behind-the-scenes experience as you join the Railroad staff for an exciting day of activities including: working alongside the team as they do the safety checks and morning activities in the maintenance barn; taking a private train ride as the initial test run is made; working in Kinder Station taking tickets, greeting visitors and helping them to their seats; and riding the locomotive, blowing the whistle, and ringing the bell. All participants will receive an engineer's cap, bandana, train whistle, name badge, and certificate. Your day begins at 8:30am and ends at 12:30pm.
