How do I get to Hermann Park?


If coming from the North on 59, exit Fannin. Continue straight into
Hermann Park.

If coming from the Southwest on 59, exit east on Richmond.
Turn right at the second light onto Fannin.

If coming from the North on 288, exit MacGregor and turn right onto North MacGregor. Hermann Park begins once you cross Almeda, at the first traffic light. Continue on North MacGregor, turning right at the next light onto MacGregor, and then right again onto Golf Course Dr., to reach the central parking lot and Zoo entrance.

If coming from the South on 288, exit MacGregor, turn left onto North MacGregor. Hermann Park begins once you cross Almeda, at the first traffic light. Continue on North MacGregor, turning right at the next light onto MacGregor, and then right again onto Golf Course Dr., to reach the central parking lot and Zoo entrance.

How do I get to Bayou Parkland, the education site for Hermann Park Conservancy?
If coming from the North on 288, exit MacGregor and take a right onto North MacGregor. At the first light take a left onto Almeda. Bayou Parkland is located at the right hand side at 6520 Almeda.

Where do I park in Hermann Park?
Free parking is available at the large central parking lot in front of the Houston Zoo, near Miller Outdoor Theatre, and at the Houston Garden Center. Free parking is also available at the golf course club house located at the corner of Almeda and MacGregor and at the Bayou Parkland Pavilion. A for-pay parking garage is available at the Houston Museum of Natural Science.
