The McGovern Centennial Gardens hours change seasonally. The gardens stay open later during the summer months between Memorial Day and Labor Day and close earlier during the shorter winter months.
For the coming year, the hours are:
Fall: 9 a.m.-7 p.m. (Sept. 6 to Nov. 5, 2016)
Winter: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. (Nov. 6, 2016 to March 13, 2017)
Spring: 9 a.m.-7 p.m. (Mar. 14 to May 26, 2017)
Summer: 9 a.m.-8 p.m. (May 27 to Sept. 5, 2017)
The McGovern Centennial Gardens is home to a diverse collection of gardens including an arid garden, a rose garden, a woodland garden, an interactive family garden, and more. You can get a bird’s-eye view of it all by walking the spiral path to the top of a 30-foot mount.
