Orientation for new Mcgovern Centennial Gardens volunteers

Saturday, September 10, 2016
9:30 am - 11:30 am
Family Garden in McGovern Centennial Gardens

Anyone who loves to be outdoors and is interested in becoming a regular volunteer in McGovern Centennial Gardens can attend an upcoming orientation. Join us Saturday, September 10 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. to learn about the program.

We will discuss Hermann Park Conservancy's background and details of volunteer opportunities, go on a scavenger hunt and end with a quick tour of McGovern Centennial Gardens. Afterward, you are invited to stay and help in the garden and to meet some of the garden staff you will be working with in the future. If you’re able to volunteer on the day of orientation, please wear closed toe shoes, long pants, a sunhat/sunscreen and bring a water bottle.
