In its almost 100 year history, Hermann Park has hosted many exciting events. Promising to continue this tradition, the newly formed HPC Garden committee presented the first annual Bob and Elyse Lanier Awards Luncheon benefiting the beautification of the Park
March 13, 2008.
Much like New York's Central Park Conservancy "hat luncheon," the event honored an individual who has shown leadership, generosity, and commitment to the Park. Along with Evening in the Park, the luncheon is certain to become one of Houston's signature events.
